The Hurricane 3.0L Twin-Turbo I-6 engine provides great balance with an inline-six design and each turbo feeds three cylinders. This will allow the engine to provide better fuel economy than the traditional engine.

The expectation on this motor is to provide more optimal performance. There is both a high-output and standard-performance output option that will be available. The expectation is that the high-out engine will provide more than 500 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, all while maintaining a focus on better fuel economy. The standard-performance output will still provide more than 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.

The V8 HEMI® already serves as one of the engine options you have on Ram trucks. It provides 410 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.
